My mom has always framed chalk boards and kept them around the house. She writes special messages for special days and greetings and holiday wishes for parties. When Greg and I moved out, I decided to take a piece of this lovely tradition with me and we hung one above our little fireplace. We write each other messages from time to time about dinner or a holiday wish, but this was the first time we interacted on the chalk board and it makes me so happy, I thought it was worthy of sharing so other people may be able to communicate loving thoughts or funny jokes to each other as well.
